Shields Pharmacy reserves the right to have their pharmacists exercise professional judgment and prevent supply of any medicine likely to constitute a hazard to health, or the supply of excessive or unnecessary quantities, especially when the product is known to have abuse potential.  

By using this website, you indicate you have agreed to the following terms and conditions:

Customer declaration:

In purchasing medicines the customer agrees to use the medicine strictly as directed. If symptoms persist, or if  any adverse effects occur, the customer will contact their pharmacist or doctor immediately. The customer acknowledges that they have read and understood the information provided about the medicine.

Reasonableness

By using this website, you agree that the exclusions and limitations of liability set out in this website disclaimer are reasonable. If you do not think they are reasonable, you must not use this website.
 

Trademarks
All brand names, product and service names and titles and copyrights used in this site are trademarks, trade names, service marks or copyrights of their respective holders. No permission is given by Shields Pharmacy for their use by any person other than the said holders and such use may constitute an infringement of the holders' rights.

We endeavour to present you with accurate and trustworthy information at all times, we cannot however guarantee that every piece of information on our web site is true, up to date and accurate at all times.

Orders
All pricing displayed is New Zealand GST inclusive unless otherwise stated.

Shields Pharmacy will not be held responsible for orders that are declined for health reasons and will not be liable or accountable for orders that are declined for any other purpose.

Any products which have been ordered, which the Pharmacist considers to be of detriment to the health of an individual will not be supplied. In the case of non-supply for such reasons, we will make an explanation for our decision available to you.

We ensure security of all credit card transactions performed on the site with use of encryption technology. We will validate your order and credit or debit card details you submit to us before your order can be accepted. Once that has been done, we will acknowledge that your order has been received by sending an e-mail to the address provided in your registration form.
 

Delivery

We only deliver to registered addresses in New Zealand and do not ship overseas. New Zealand orders are sent via Post Haste Couriers

  • Local delivery 1 to 3 working days

 


Cancellations


You can request to cancel your order through the Contact Us page, calling 03 352-9210 or emailing ask.us@shieldspharmacy.co.nz  within one hour of the order being placed. Any request received after that we will attempt to change but regret in most cases order packing and dispatch may have already taken place.
 


Returns and Exchanges


Products can be returned to Shields Pharmacy. You will need to contact Steve on 03 352-9210 within that day you received the goods.  The product needs to be in its original packaging. You cannot return products that state they are non-returnable on the website unless it has been damaged during the delivery or the wrong product has been delivered.

If you would like to exchange your item please get in contact with us and we will confirm if the new item is available or not.
Some items on the website will state whether the item is non-returnable, please be aware of these items. 

If you have ordered the wrong product, you may return the product. However a restocking fee may be incurred.
 


Refunds


We apologise if you have received a product that is faulty, or if you have received the wrong product. You are welcome to an exchange or refund. Please contact us on phone: 03 352-9210 or email ask.us@shieldspharmacy.co.nz


Wrong Product Delivered


If you have ordered something and received the wrong product, we apologise and you are more than welcome to an exchange or refund. Please contact us on phone 03 352-9210 or email ask.us@shieldspharmacy.co.nz

 


Damaged, Lost or Defective Products


If you suspect your product has been damaged during delivery please do not throw away the parcel or cover in which the product came as. Do not sign for the parcel from the courier company. Please contact us on phone: 03 35-9210 or ask.us@shieldspharmacy.co.nz and we will organise the return of the product for inspection and will endeavour to send you a replacement as soon as possible.

Customer must return products to Shields Pharmacy within 10 days. Any Products that are damaged, or any lost or incomplete deliveries should be notified to Shields Pharmacy so that Shields Pharmacy can inspect the Products or lay claim against the carrier. Failure to do so will result in the claim being declined.

Shields Pharmacy reserves the right to decide in its sole discretion whether it will accept the return of any Products for credit, repair or replacement. Shields Pharmacy will not accept return of any Product that has been tampered with, where the damage has resulted from misuse or incorrect storage by the Customer or where the Product is expressly sold on a no-returns basis. Where returned Product is not accepted they will be returned to Customer at the Customer’s cost. Receipt by Shields Pharmacy of returned Product does not constitute acceptance for any purposes.
